Halfway up the eastern shore of the Leelanau Peninsula you will find Suttons Bay. This unique coastal village is the town that my husband and I fell in love with back in 2006. It is It is one of the cutest towns I have ever seen. All sorts of colorful shops line the main street. It is home to shopping galore, as well as, an assortment of top quality restaurants with all sorts of special menus. It is a walkable village full of specialty shops, galleries, ice cream, and easy access to the TART trail. Suttons Bay is home to many vineyards in the heart of Michigan wine country. Enjoy some wine tasting, take a stroll through town, or engage in numerous outdoor activities in this memorable town.
The town is situated right on Sutton’s Bay. It has a lovely marina and an awesome park for the kids, located right on the beach.

Yearly activities include the Suttons Bay Art Festival and the Leelanau Peninsula Wine on the Water. Both events take place at the beautiful Suttons Bay Marina Park. Many local artists come to show their artwork. Wine on the water features local wineries and distilleries, live entertainment, and local eats!
