Interlochen is a small town in Northwest Michigan that is well known throughout the country. A beautiful town focused on culture, art, and history. It is also home to the world-famous Interlochen Center for the Arts. Interlochen Center for the Arts offers educational programs for children and adults. In addition, it hosts hundreds of concerts and events throughout the year. They also feature two public radio stations. We love living so close Interlochen. My family and I have enjoyed many concerts, plays, and even a comedian or two. For example, heading to The Nutcracker has become a yearly tradition for me and my daughters. We also enjoy camping at the local state park.
Similar to its neighboring small towns, Interlochen lets nature shine. For instance, you will find forests, dunes, inland lakes, rivers, islands, and streams. Visitors and locals alike enjoy the water sports; canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and swimming. They also can work up a sweat hiking, biking, and more. However, summer isn’t the only fun time in Interlochen! Fall is a gorgeous time of year here. Come enjoy the amazing colors as the seasons change. Wintertime is also full of fun and opportunity for physical activity! Try snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or some ice fishing! Interlochen is home to Duck Lake, Lake Dubonnet, and Bass Lake. Great spots to go fishing.

The Interlochen area includes surrounding towns of Lake Ann, Honor, Grawn, Chums corners, Karlin, and Thompsonville.
